FC Chelsea Update : Summer Transfer News

To date, Chelsea’s famous manager is the Premiership’s biggest spender to the tune of £75million to secure Cesc Fabregas, Felipe Luis, and Diego Costa for his young and already formidable side.

Mourinho gained revenue from the £50m sale to Paris Saint-Germain for David Luiz and the £5m paid by Besiktas for Demba Ba. To round things out, Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard are gone ad Tomas Kalas is out on loan.

Reportedly, Blue’s boss Mourinho has spent his budget and plans to promote young players from Chelsea’s academy to his team in the upcoming season to meet the UEFA requirement that clubs can field no more than 17 footballers who are not home grown by the club or England.

Lewis Baker, Nathan Chalobah, Isaiah Brown, Jeremie Boga and Patrick Bamford are all prospects for promotion.

Only John Terry and McEachran are the only “club trained” players on the current first-team squad. Cesc Fabregas is considered “home-grown” and “association trained” after his time at Arsenal, along with Gary Cahill, Victor Moses, and Bertrand.
