After the exciting 2012 Boxing Day Premier League clashes, Manchester United remain in first place (7 clear) after defeating Newcastle 4-3, ahead of Manchester City who lost 0-1 today to Sunderland, Chelsea in 3rd, and the Spurs in 4th. Spurs defeated Aston Villa 4-0. Other Boxing Day results are: Norwich City 0-1 Chelsea; Everton 2-1 Wigan Athletic; Fulham 1-1 Southampton; QPR 1-0 West Bromwich Albion; and Reading 0-0 Swansea City. Arsenal’s match against West Ham was postponed due to the Tube strike.
