Chelsea Move Up to 3rd in Premier League

In week 16, Man City remain No. 1 in the Premiership, and Man United and Chelsea have climbed to No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

Today Chelsea lost points as they earned a draw with Wigan 1-1.

The Blues continued their recent run of good form by taking down leaders Manchester City on Monday night of last week.

With goals by Raul Meireles and Frank Lampard, Chelsea took all the points after winning the Barclays Premier League match between Chelsea and Manchester City at Stamford Bridge on December 12, 2011.

Chelsea have denied claims that left-back Ashely Cole taunted the City players.

Chelsea won the Premiership again in 2010. Last season, FC Chelsea were not able to retain the Premiership title and finished second to Manchester United with a nine point differential.

Current Chelsea manager is Andres Villas Boas.
