The Blues reached the Champions League semi-finals last season with veteran manager Jose Mourinho at the helm. Atletico Madrid caused their exit from Europe’s elite tournament at the semi-final stage.
Mourinho believes his side is even stronger going into the 2014-15 campaign after labelling Chelsea the “little horse” in the league football title race last season.
Going into the upcoming Champions League campaign Mourinho has strengthened Chelsea by hiring Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas, Thibaut Courtois and Filipe Luis to his awesome squad during the summer transfer season.
